SESSION DESCRIPTION:

The information and communication technology is playing a significant role in each sector and makes it smoother for human to perform, work, make-decisions to receive more reliable outcomes from smart systems. More specifically in healthcare industry the role of information and communication technology is on peek with regular advancements/innovations and, because of the importance of this particular sector as well as to make it negligible the chances of errors, discrepancies, security-breaches can occur.

To provide a high level security and to make it sure the authentic results will be used for any type of decision making either by physician itself or by the smart devices (for patient’s care) the advent communication technology named Blockchain have a considerable impact in healthcare. The Blockchain not only utilizes high quality cryptographic algorithms such as Hash-Function for proving the authenticity but also helpful to keep the records available on many local/remote locations for clarification or updation purposes, if required with the help of consensus, smart-contract and proof of work algorithms.

This particular session provides an interactive forum for academicians, research-scholars, industry-professionals, and medical-practitioners to share their conceptions and new innovative techniques to make smart and secure healthcare possible with advent communication technologies.
